Des has helped me organise an inspection appointment within 2 days. Understood my requirements and worked beyond his means to get an appointment with appropriate inspector. Very professional and reasonable priced.
Babak is a very professional and knowledgable inspector. Thumbs UP!
Jamal provided detailed report and it's give me an opportunity to better understand the building process and have a solid conversation with onsite manager about the defects and that need to be rectified before slab pouring today.

Most bookings are covered within a week, and a pour or a tiler arriving tomorrow can often be done at short notice. Call as soon as the builder gives you a date.
Within 24 hours of the visit, and stage reports often arrive the same evening so the builder sees them before the next trade starts.
Check the slab and frame against the drawings and the QBCC Standards and Tolerances Guide, then perform a handover inspection. Our Morayfield slabs keep turning up missing step reinforcement and short cover, and our frames keep turning up connections that differ from the engineering. If you need to ensure the services are clear, add a lock-up inspection to your list.
Because many homes here have a tiled balcony above a room, and our Morayfield reports have recorded undersized balcony drains, a membrane not taken into the overflow and tiles laid on dabs instead of a full bed. A cracked tile can lead to water damage and a costly repair.
The principal certifier checks for compliance with the QBCC Standards and Tolerances Guide, but they do not provide a detailed list of defects for you. You need a separate report to verify the approved drawings and NCC standards before the handover inspection.
The regulator is the Queensland Building and Construction Commission. They enforce the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act 1991 and manage the QBCC Home Warranty Scheme for work in the City of Moreton Bay.
Yes. We measure existing homes against AS 4349.1. For timber pests we use AS 4349.3. Stage and handover inspections are measured against your approved plans, the engineering, the NCC and the QBCC Standards and Tolerances Guide.
Yes. We hold a valid QBCC licence and carry professional indemnity and public liability insurance. We also provide a certificate of insurance upon request.
If the defect is major, it is covered by the QBCC Home Warranty Scheme. The QCAT tribunal can make orders to fix the issue. A pre-purchase or stage inspection report provides evidence to support your claim.
You can, but you must stay outside the construction zone. The inspector will point out specific defects and explain what is required to meet the standard.
We cover the City of Moreton Bay including Morayfield, Bellmere, Burpengary East, Caboolture, Upper Caboolture, Beachmere and Moorina.
Review the sections on waterproofing, drainage and the structure. If you are unsure about the findings, we can interpret the standards and explain the next steps for the builder.
